minneapolis transport

Interstates 35W and 94 are the main arteries of the city. Both will take you to the edge of downtown. I-35W runs north and south (mostly) and i-94 East and West, both of you connects with Interstate i-494/694 Beltway around the metropolitan area of downtown West. i-394 i-494 runs, where it gets us Hwy 12. Be sure to monitor that Lane, like the fast highway exchanges, and already-ups occur at any time, day or night, morning (7-9am) and evening (3-7pm) are expected congested peak .

By train

Amtrak. Daily service to Midway station, located just off the University of Saint Paul near the border with Minneapolis. Empire generator, and Amtrak trains 8 / 28 7 / 27, serving the area with two cities, ending in Seattle or Portland and Chicago (the train splits in Spokane, Washington). This train covers a similar route to the historic Empire James J. generator Hill Great Northern Railway.

Taxi is probably your best bet to reach his final destination of the train station, especially if it comes from Chicago or other points East. the train arrives at 10:30 p.m. or later, when the bus very small shift of the night are gone. If you do not care to wait for # 16 bus runs at University Avenue, one block south of the station and take you to downtown Minneapolis or St. Paul. consider encouraging the University Ave Station against Dubliner. is a great, nice little pub and # 16 in Minneapolis stopped at the gates.
